A story carried across generations
In a diary written between 1896 and 1900, my great-grandmother recorded her experiences connected to Skomvær lighthouse in Lofoten.
More than a century later, I began exploring the same landscape through watercolour. The Skomvær series is my way of reconnecting with that place — its light, weather, sea and solitude.
